Holiday Meal Kits for a Cause
Helping disadvantaged families in need easy recipes so they can focus on what matters most.
About Our Meal Kits for a Cause
In 2017, my husband and I started an annual Holiday Meal Kit Initiative. We have teamed up with our friends, family, and acquaintances to provide Meal Kits to a local food bank or philanthropic organization. Our meal kits provide a solution to the problem that everyone has– “What’s for Dinner?”
I have designed meal kits with recipes that require very few kitchen tools that can be adapted for stovetop, slow cooker and microwave. PLUS… they are easy to make again and combine non perishable food items that are commonly available at food banks.
For 2021, we will be donating our meal kits to St. Francis House in Dumfries, Virginia. Its main objective is to serve the many needs of the low-income, disadvantaged families in the Eastern Prince William County. Our meal kits support special holiday meals for families that depend on St. Francis House. To learn more about this organization, VISIT their site.
Our goal this year is 100 kits total for St. Francis House and 500 meal kits across the nation. We need your help sponsoring for this amazing cause!
Here are the two Kit options to sponsor this year:
- Option 1: $20 will provide a basic meal kits which includes non-perishable food items for TWO meals, TWO specialty seasonings & recipes for recipient to make meals.
- Option 2: $45 will sponsor Bread of Life Kit which includes Stone Loaf Pan AND a Quick Bread Mix.
Proceeds for purchase of kits will go to the items to create kits and as a donation to St. Francis House in Dumfries, Virginia.
